Pets bring an extraordinary source of richness and beauty to our lives.

I was raised with a standard poodle and loved all animals for as long as I can remember. I began working with pets in the 70's and I still find that each creature I provide for (and there have been thousands) has a unique personality, energy and sense of drama. I purchased Sunshine Pet Parlor in Arizona in 1988. It was a small, busy grooming shop in downtown Phoenix. I learned to groom and run a business over the course of the following 8 years.

In 1996 with my husband, Ron, and two daughters – we made the move to Hull, Massachusetts. I tried working for others, but quickly realized that I was best suited for self-employment! I have strong values, ethics and beliefs.

After grooming & petsitting from 1996 – 2006 from our home, Sunshine Pet Parlor Professional Pet Grooming etc… was established as the soup to nuts, or better, biscuits to catnip, place to take your pets for great care, healthy food and treats, doggie daycare, good advice and lots of love. Always a lot of love. In 2007 Ron joined the business full time as manager etc… Also, on occasion you might find Kelly or Becca socializing the pups, facilitating your purchase or answering the phone.

When I'm not involved with Sunshine Pet (or chauffeuring my kids in their busy lives), I'm closely tied to other animal care services. I'm a founding member of the now highly regarded Hull Seaside Animal Rescue and also a founding member of New England Springer Spaniel Rescue, Inc.
